English herringbone
English herringbone — is the oldest method of parquet laying which consists in the fact that each individual plank is attached perpendicular to the other one. The planks are visually intertwined at a 90-degree angle. In addition, due to this interweaving, the load on each plank is evenly distributed which increases the stability and durability of the parquet.

Allowed: mixed sawing, tone changes between planks, live and putty knot with diameter from 15 up to 80 mm, sapwood on the front side
